From my first 9 years in Springfield, IL wanting to be an Olympic swimmer to the next 13 in Dallas and The University of Texas at Austin, my life has revolved around open and candid communication. Selling knives door to door in College and selling in an upscale men’s store afterwards was a perfect introductory for me to find success in the corporate world. I joined a $1B Chemical company as an outside sales rep at 24 years old after getting married, inheriting two little boys, buying a new car and moving 700 miles to Shreveport, LA as an outside sales rep for a $250 weekly draw. 5 months later that risk paid off as I was training all of the new hires from around the country for their first week training, and 4 years later I was promoted and relocated back to Dallas as a Regional Sales Manager. After more than 17 years, I made a calculated decision to leave and move to California where I have resided for the past 23 years.
My professional success since including several VP roles both domestically and internationally can be attributed to my ability to inspire confidence and trust quickly with the goal of building a sincere long term personal relationship, all of which I learned in formal training classes and subsequently taught. At this time, I want to teach and share my skills with anyone who wants to learn how to understand their personality and how it affects their ability to articulate and how to recognize the same in others to increase the percentages of success. I have been fortunate to hire and develop hundreds of highly successful people from College to entry level to CEO’s and all positions in between in many different industries revolving around recruiting, hiring, training managing, and motivating.
